An active investigation is underway involving several students that attend school in Nickerson. School officials say the investigation involves photos that are being passed around at Reno Valley Middle School and Nickerson High School. Two girls at the high school who didn't go on camera say students a their school are threatening girls into sending nude pictures. The Reno County Sheriff's Office says several phones have been confiscated and investigators are looking at possible criminal charges. Brittany Taylor , Digital News Editor. A parent of a student reported that photos of the middle school's assistant principal, Chris Maple, were being passed around by students. According to charging documents, Maple was charged with indecent exposure in after he walked outside naked and touched himself. Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District is currently investigating the matter but has already stated that Mr. Maple will not be returning for work for the school year. Maple is being presumed guilty for something that isn't a crime and for something he didn't do. He is the victim of an internet troll taking advantage of his personal life. At work, he was a funny, kind, and caring man who truly helped many students whether they were going down the wrong path, or if they were feeling sad or depressed. He has done so much for the school and community and he shouldn't be fired for being the victim of an internet leak. Sign this petition to stop the district from unjustly firing Chris Maple.

A Pennsylvania teacher charged with institutional sexual assault on a student gained Internet infamy for allegedly sending the male student nude pictures of herself on Snapchat and then having those pictures passed around the school. Gone was her blond hair, replaced by longer, darker locks, according to WNEP video found here. As for the hearing, Clough waived the proceeding, moving the case to trial. No date has been set.
A nude photo of a year-old New Jersey girl has been passed around a middle school, and students have been warned they must delete it from their cellphones by today. Police were called to Eisenhower Middle School in Wyckoff after teachers investigating an argument among four students found the photo of the girl on a cellphone. Police Chief Benjamin Fox told The Record newspaper that students who still have the photo after May 19 could be charged with endangering the welfare of a child or possession of child pornography. The chief says while there are no plans to inspect students' cellphones, the chief says there are ways things are brought to the attention of law enforcement. The sexting incident was first reported by Wyckoff Patch. The website obtained an e-mail from Eisenhower Middle School principal Stephen Raimo alerting parents to the incident on Tuesday.
